Sikkim Welcomes the Leela to Open 140-Room Hotel

Leela The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, one of the  luxury hotel chains in India, has signed a management agreement for a 140-room hotel in Ranka in Sikkim, marking the foray of the brand into Northeast India. The Sibin Group owns the project Leela Sikkim, which is situated on a 17-acre site with views of Gangtok Hill and 
about 10 kilometers from the capital.

The Leela Sikkim, which is scheduled to open in December 2026 and is situated against the serene backdrop of the Himalayas, is positioned to completely transform the hospitality industry in the area with its thoughtful programming, inspiring design, and well-known signature services.

The Leela Sikkim will provide guests with a luxurious and peaceful stay, along with a variety of leisure and wellness amenities and carefully chosen services. The  luxury hotel features will include 88 luxurious rooms in a hotel block in addition to 35 separate luxury villas, including 20 wellness villas, 13 twin villas, a 6-room double-story villa, and 13 luxury rooms. 

 

This luxury hotel architecture will feature everything contemporary and stylish. There will be a variety of dining options available, including a lounge bar, specialty restaurant, wellness restaurant, and all-day dining restaurant. In addition, there will be a casino, a state-of-the-art wellness center, and a variety of other indoor and outdoor activities for guests to enjoy.
