In this exclusive conversation with Building Material Reporter, the design trio shares their insights on what will shape the future of interiors. From the rise of textured natural materials and AI-powered design tools to deeper sustainability commitments, they've spoken about everything. Let's have a look
1. What’s one material or design approach you believe will define 2025? Why?
Natural Material with newer finishes in them, like texturing them in more artistic way. 2025 has seen play of more natural materials or materials which are giving more natural look-feel, like lime plaster, textured wood, clay art, etc. These natural Material tend to give more rich look and feel to the space.
2. How are you incorporating technology (AI, smart materials, digital tools) into your creative process
today — and how do you see it evolving?
Technology has become a key part of any industry, including Interior Design. We use AI generated mood boards, digital walk through for presentation, rendering, etc. It make our visualisation more easier in shorter time frame. I see AI suggesting layouts, materials, and even customising spaces based on user behaviour and climate data. Technology won't replace creativity but will help with necessaey data and make spaces smarter, more sustainable, and personalised as per requirementand choice.
3. Sustainability continues to shape design — what new practices, materials, or mindsets are you
adopting to push it further in 2025?
Sustainability will soon be a requirement rather then a trend or someone's practice
Using reclaimed wood, processed natural waste materials, lime plaster or natural non-toxic paints.
Also using local material to reduce Industrial production and waste.
4. What role does “brand thinking” or storytelling play in your spatial, product, or architectural work
today?
Every project has a story. A story that reflects clients personality, liking, lifestyle blended with our design and details. This makes our every project unique, which is customised for that one client. This story makes not only functional and beautiful, but has a personalised experience for the user.
5. If you had to predict one major shift in how we live, work, or build — what would that be in the
next 2–3 years?
In next 2-3 years people will want not only good looking spaces, but spaces where they feel at ease
and comfort.
- A space that will be a stress free experience.
- Work spaces integrated within homes for work from home concept
- Smart control spaces, with everything at a click of a button.
- Absolutely well ventilated spaces and windows have a better picture view
- Focus from styling home will alter to improving lifestyles
