Smartness in bathrooms with fittings are very important. There are many such bath fittings which come along with app-based control so much so that even the flow of water can be customised and set as per one’s comfort level. It is the best used form of automation. In some of my latest projects, I have recommended faucets and mixers where functions like flow and temperature can be controlled using smartphones. Having said that, it would be vital to have sustainable solutions with luxury feel than simply going after smart ones.

Significantly, through the upcoming Smartex conference and symposium, where I join other like-minded professionals, we would try to create a template for a smart and futuristic future. The two-day event (February 10-11) will be organized at Pride Plaza, Aerocity, New Delhi.
