Chromatic House Designed by Anagram Architects | Ar. Shruti Dimri | Luxury House

Designed by Anagram Architects, the Chromatic House’s child-like playfulness derives directly from the clients’ mandate. A young nuclear family of five, wanted a city home wherein children are to grow up playing within the premises under the participative care of their parents. Ultimately, the design so created divided the plot into two almost equal triangles – one each for home and playground.

The house so came out deciphers a more rural pitched roof form with a long verandah that opens up to the lawn and vegetable garden. While bedrooms have been placed on the first floor spilling onto a large, tapered A-frame volume that accommodates a mezzanine lounge; the living, dining and kitchen got their arrangements in an open plan on the ground floor. The highpoint of the house is a sturdy slide tucked under the stairs, which whimsically connects the study in the attic.
